Dal 30 maggio al 3 giugno (ma la competizione inizierà realmente solo il 1° giugno) le migliori 20 ginnaste individualiste seniores (fra cui la nostra Campionessa italiana Julieta Cantaluppi) , 94 juniores provenienti da 34 Paesi europei (per loro una competizione a squadre e relative finali di specialità individuali; fra le protagoniste le nostre “azzurrine” Carmen Crescenzi dell’Armonia d’Abruzzo, Greta Merlo – Virtus Gallarate e Sofia Lodi della Brixia), e 17 squadre seniores, fra cui le Farfalle Campionesse del Mondo (Elisa Santoni, Elisa Blanchi, Anzhelika Savrayuk, Romina Laurito, Marta Pagnini e Andreea Stefanescu) si sfideranno sulla pedana russa della città di Nizhny Novgorod. La gara sarà un ottimo banco di prova per gli imminenti Giochi Olimpici di Londra. Di seguito l’elenco delle individualiste seniores che hanno ottenuto, nel 2011, l’ammissione alla competizione.
